    Mike Watson, the lead agent for our team, has been in the real estate industry since 2002, and got his license in 2005. Since then he has managed and closed more than 700 transactions, with a total volume exceeding $100,000,000.00.

    Mike has been one of the top agents (based on number of homes sold) for most of his career, and has been in the top 10 for the Antelope Valley for the last several years. Before turning 30, Mike was the top selling agent under 30 for 2 years.  In 2016, our team was the number 1 team in the Antelope Valley. In 2017 Mike Was Named to the 2017 REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents, and was ranked number 78 (out of approximately 230,000 agents) in the State of California.

    Working with a team means you are working with a group of specialists who are all focused on one thing – YOU!  In addition to the greater level of service and expertise you will experience when working with our team, you will always be able to reach someone on our team regardless of one agent being sick, out of town, or in an appointment. In addition to Mike Watson as the lead agent, two buyers agents, Rob Talbot as the Director of Innovation, our team also consists of a marketing director, a transaction coordinator, and a director of operations.

    Market Leading Advertising

    When it comes to marketing and advertising, our team is second to none.  In addition to professional photography, we are the only people who provide 3D Virtual Tours of our listings (See example 3D Virtual Tour here). We also use an extremely technical approach to social media advertising, using a three pronged approach in the audiences we target. First, we do a broad audience approach for the sake of the word of “mouse” effect. Second, we target the other people in your neighborhood to see if they know anyone who may be looking to purchase a home in the area. Third, we look at who the most likely demographic will be to purchase your home and we market to them specifically.

    Our website is also a pretty powerful marketing tool. We get around 2,000 unique visitors on average to our website each month, with an average of 60 people registering on our site for more information about properties. When we list your home for sale we can then run it’s characteristics against our database of buyers and their search criteria so that we can quickly identify those most likely buyers out of our own existing buyer pool.

    Just because we have lots of fancy technology does not mean that we have given up the traditional marketing tactics.  We employ direct mailings, phone calls, and door knocking to the same groups of people that we market to on Social Media.

    Questions To Ask When Interviewing Agents

    Below is a list of critical questions to ask the agents that you interview to represent you. I think everyone can agree that numbers are the language of business, and if someone doesn’t know their numbers then it is safe to say that they treat real estate more like a hobby than as a business.

    • Are they a full-time or part-time agent?
    • Have they ever been sued?
    • Do they have positive testimonials?
    • What is their list to sell price ratio?
    • What is their average days on market?
    • How many of their homes expire or don’t sell?
    • How many homes have they sold? How many in the last 12 months? How many this year?
    • How many buyers have they represented in the last 12 months? How many this year?
    • Are they an individual agent, or do they have a team?
    • How much of their business is generated by referrals?

    Do Your Homework

    Don’t make a decision simply based on how friendly the agent is when you speak with them. There are plenty of very nice people in the world who are not necessarily the right people for the jobs they are currently working in. You will want to look at their track record of how they have been successful in the career, as well as what other people have to say about their experience with that agent.
